Let’s Talk High Functioning Anxiety.

When we think of anxiety we often think of sweaty palms, rapid heartbeat, shortness of breath, it can even feel like a heart attack. But the reality is that anxiety is that and so very much more, especially when you are talking about someone who suffers from high functioning anxiety.

As you can see, anxiety looks different for everyone, and while everyone has times where they feel anxious, why is it that for some people it takes over their lives?

The answer might surprise you, because the gut/brain axis plays a huge part in how we feel day in and day out. Did you know that our gut and brain are intimately connected and constantly send signals back and forth. If your gut has too much bad bacteria, it literally can’t send signals properly.
